Our Mission
Our mission began with Todd Evans, whose journey brought light to an often-overlooked issue—the early, undetected onset of mental illness. Like so many others, Todd's challenges began in his younger years, yet they were unnoticed until their impacts became undeniable. His story is a poignant reminder of the silent struggles individuals and their families face every day.
We are dedicated to raising awareness about the epidemic of mental illness and its profound effects on individuals and society as a whole. By sharing Todd's story and countless others like his, we aim to foster understanding, compassion, and action. Together, we can create a world where mental health is prioritized, and early intervention becomes the norm.
Our Approach
Todd Evans' story is a poignant example of the challenges surrounding undetected mental illness. Diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and PTSD, Todd faced significant struggles that went unnoticed during his early years. His story highlights the importance of early detection and support for mental health issues. Tragically, his life was cut short due to complications stemming from his conditions, but his legacy lives on through efforts to raise awareness and support others facing similar challenges
Our Promise
Mike Evans founded Todd Evans Scholarship Fund to honor his brother Todd's memory and to support others facing similar challenges. His vision is to create a world where mental health is openly discussed and treated with dignity and respect.
In partnership with the Arlington Dollars for Scholars, we are able to offer significant financial help to outgoing Seniors in the Arlington, Lakewood, Lake Stevens and Bishop Manogue School Districts.
All donations made thru the Todd Evans Scholarship go directly to graduating seniors who have been affected by mental health in some way.
